Right now, the market here in Morley is pretty stable, but we are seeing inventory fall a bit. In fact, inventory is quite low for this time of year. Because this is an atypical trend, we have some advice for buyers and sellers who may not know what to make of these conditions:
  • Sellers: The inventory is good news, as we've seen prices jump 7.8% since this time last year. You still need to prepare your home adequately to get a good value on the market, but the low inventory does mean there is slightly less competition that usual.
  • Buyers: Because inventory is low, you are going to have to set yourself apart from other buyers in order to get the home you desire. Getting pre-qualified is a great way to do that. Despite the fact that there is less to choose from, interest rates are still hovering just over 4%, which is incredibly low and great news if you're looking to buy.
