There are three common contingencies that can come with a buyer’s offer on your home, but one of them can really impact your home sale.

As a seller, there are three main contingencies that you will get in an offer:

  1. Home inspections
  2. Financing for your buyer
  3. The buyer needs to sell their home

This last contingency can really impact the sale of your home because the buyer needs to sell their own property before they can move forward with your transaction. This contingency can cause a real domino effect because your buyer’s buyer will need to pass the home inspection contingency and the financing contingency. If that buyer needs to sell a home as well, that could affect the final sale of your home even more.
